Design requirements for the vehicle-use child safety seat and reducing injuries
Dec 19, 2018

The vehicle-use child safety seat is designed for children of different weights, and is mainly installed in the car to a certain extent, which can effectively improve the safety of the child's seat. The child safety seat for a vehicle can be fixed to a motor vehicle, with a buckled seat belt assembly or a child safety protection system consisting of a flexible member, an adjustment mechanism, and an accessory. It can also be combined with additional devices such as portable strollers, infant carriers, auxiliary seats or collision protection. In the case of a car bump or sudden deceleration, the pressure on the child can be reduced and the child's body movement can be restricted to reduce the damage to them.

The seat belts are designed for adults and are only suitable for children with a height of 140cm and a weight of 36kg or more. For children whose height and shape are not yet developed, if only the seat belt is used, when the collision occurs, the safety belt may cause rib fracture, suffocation or even neck fracture. On the contrary, it will hurt the baby's fragile neck and will not have a safety function.

According to the actual research, when the car collides at a speed of 50km per hour, the baby in the parent's arms will punch out with 30 times of its own weight. This sudden impact, for parents, can not be immediately reflected in the treatment, even the strong arm, the baby may hit the windshield.
